There is no easier way for the many children and teenagers of the lesser fortunate to break the cycle of poverty then through education. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has been helping the many high school students with university dreams overcome the financial barrier of such an education. This kind of charitable giving will not only help the lesser fortunate for the time being but for a lifetime.

It is called the One at a Time Financial Assistance Program, which has a focus on Arizona universities and other schools that do not cost a lot. Give a kid a fish and they’ll eat for a day give a kid a fishing education and they’ll eat for a lifetime, this sane is true in every sense. SVdP works alongside local high school advisors to find the best candidates and then charitable giving steps are taken from there.

A mentor is given to all selected students to keep them on track. This program also works for those interested in a trade education. If this charity donation seems important to you call 602-261-6814.
