The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix will be hosting “The Experience” this Saturday (April 19) at SVdP Dan O’Meara Center, which is located at 420 W. Watkins Road in Phoenix. This is a great opportunity for a corporate team building event or for anyone that would be interested in a scenario that puts your financial stability on the rocks and your life on the streets.

The Experience in summary is a game where participants will face a life changing event that involves a large bill from maybe a car crash or job loss. The players will then take steps to find help through the SVdP free services that are used by the lesser fortunate every day. This way people will begin to see how easy it can be to hit a rough patch in the road leading to corporate team building growth or increased charitable giving to those in need.

The Experience will begin this Saturday at 11 am and run until 2 pm. You just have to make it sometime there sometime before 1:15 because the game takes about 45 minutes to play.
