The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Phoenix has a wonderful program where people can purchase commemorative bricks that can be inscribed with whatever you would like that are then placed in their Biblical Garden. The Biblical Garden is located in the Dan O'Meara School on Watkins Road. These commemorative bricks can represent a person, group of people or highlighted event. The bricks cost 100 dollars a piece and that price includes 17 characters for inscribing.
Before you say that is too much money, realize that money is charity donation that goes toward the Society. So in effect, you are participating in charitable giving but getting a commemorative brick to signify your contribution. If you are interested in setting the brick up over your computer, visit this link: https://secure5.extremezone.com/stvdpssl/brick.asp and fill put the form for the online donation. You can also call 602-261-6814. This is a great opportunity to commemorate a friend, loved one or event that will also help the St. Vincent de Paul Society with charity donation. They are non-profit so your money will go a long way.
