Another couple Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Phoenix Open Heart tours are on the coming horizon for those charitable giving minded people who feel it is time to make a difference in their communities. Charity donation should not stop at financial contributions. Becoming an active part of the community will make you and those you help better people.
The first SVdP open house will take place this Thursday, July 17 at 10 am. For those that are not familiar with the SVdP tours, they begin at the main campus in Phoenix and show charitable giving participants the medical, dental, shelter, donation center and food halls that the charity incorporates. The best part about the tours is that you get a short summary of what each does, which should give you a better indication to where you could help out the most. Call 602-261-6815 to RSVP.
For those that can’t make it on Thursday, there will be one more in the month of July on the 21st, which is a Thursday as well. Charitable giving is always in high demand within the Phoenix area.
